Pavithra Industries

Our shop is at No 98 V. V. Koil Street. We’ve been here in Choolai for a long time now. The Dharmaraja Kovil is just a short walk away, so we hear the temple bells every morning when we open up. It’s a busy street with lots of people moving back and forth all day. The building is old and doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, we have our machines and a small corner for some chairs and a table. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. Most of the time, our clothes are a bit messy from the work we do. We drink tea from the shop across the road at least three times a day. The traffic can be a nightmare when the trucks come to deliver materials. We have to coordinate with the neighbors to make sure the road isn't blocked for too long. Everyone around here knows Pavithra Industries. We don't do much talking; we just get the work done and go home to our families. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood play near our entrance, and we have to tell them to move. It’s just a normal, everyday place where we work hard. We don't have any big plans to move or change things. This street is where we belong.
