Chint Electrics

Over in Anna Nagar, specifically in the B-5 block of the Arinayot area, is where we set up our shop. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve been here quite a while. Our space isn't very large, so we have to stack the boxes of electrical parts pretty high. It’s mostly breakers and switches and things like that. Usually, the front door is open to let a bit of a breeze in, though it brings in the street noise too. We spend a lot of time checking invoices and matching them with the stock on the shelves. It’s just a few of us working here. We know the regular customers by name and they usually know where we keep the things they need. It’s not a fancy setup with glass displays. It’s more of a working warehouse where people come to get what they need for their projects. We have a small desk tucked in the corner for the paperwork. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, which is funny considering what we sell, but we’ll get around to fixing it one day. We just try to keep things moving. There isn't much to say about us other than we work hard and try to stay organized in a small space. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the neighborhood here in Block B. We just take it one day at a time, handling the orders as they come.
