Chheda Industries

Chheda Industries is situated over at 42/25 Vallam Bangaru Street in the Vepery area. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of character. Our building is a simple structure that fits right in with the others on the street. Working in Vepery means you have to deal with narrow lanes and a lot of activity at all hours. We do our manufacturing and business stuff right from this location. Inside, the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the work itself. There is usually a bit of a hum from the machines or the fans going in the background. We have some storage space for the materials, though it gets full pretty quickly when a new shipment arrives. The guys working here have been around for a long time, so we have a routine that works for us. We start the day with some tea and a quick talk about what needs to get out the door. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a practical workspace where we get our hands dirty when we have to. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We just keep the doors open and get on with the tasks at hand, making sure things are moving along as they should for everyone involved in the daily grind of running a place like this.
