Chettiar Chits Private Limited is located right in the middle of everything on Anna Salai. We are at Door No 189, in Shop No 14 of Aarthy Chambers. Being in the 600002 pin code area means there is always noise from the street outside. Anna Salai is the heart of Chennai, and Aarthy Chambers has been around for quite some time now. Our shop is a bit small, but it fits everything we need to get through the day. There are files stacked up on the shelves and a couple of old desks where we sit to do the accounts. People coming into the city for work often stop by since we are so central. It gets very crowded during the morning rush, and finding parking nearby can be a real headache for anyone visiting. We’ve grown used to the constant sound of horns and the general bustle of the city. Inside the office, things are much slower. We take our time with the paperwork because mistakes in chit funds are not a good thing. We drink a lot of coffee from the nearby stalls to keep us going. The building itself shows its age, but it’s a solid place to work. We don’t do any flashy advertising or anything like that. Most of our visitors are people who work in the nearby offices or shops on Anna Salai. They know where we are, right there in Shop 14. It’s just a practical spot for a practical business.
