Ravenko Exports

We are located at No. 53/23 on Ovm Street in the Chepauk area. This is where Ravenko Exports does its daily business. Chepauk is an interesting place with a lot of history and busy streets. Our spot on Ovm Street is where we spend most of our hours. It’s a narrow street and things can get tight when a truck comes through. We have been working out of this space for some time now. It’s mostly just a lot of boxes and shelves. We don't have a reception desk or a person waiting to greet people. If you come in, you’ll probably find us in the back working on something. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts. The humidity in Chepauk can be a bit much sometimes, but we have some fans going. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the labels are on straight. It’s not very exciting work, but it fills the day. We know the other shop owners on the street. We say hello when we are out getting water or lunch. It’s a community of sorts. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just figured out how to do things by doing them every day. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to fix them. That’s just part of life here. When we finish up, we lock up the shutters and head home to rest for the next day. We always come back and do it again.
