You can find us over at No 29 on Chittrarajan Road, right next to the ICIC Bank in Alwarpet. It’s a nice enough area and being next to the bank makes us easy to locate for families coming by. We focus on nursing care, which basically means we spend our time looking after people who need help with their daily health needs. It’s a job that requires a lot of patience and just being present for the people staying with us. The building isn't huge, but we have enough space for what we do. Our staff works in shifts, so there is always someone around the clock. Some of the nurses have been with us for years and they know the routines inside out. We don’t go in for big advertisements or polished brochures. Most of the people who come to us were told about the place by a friend or their family doctor. It’s a straightforward operation here. We handle the medication, the meals, and the basic medical monitoring that's required. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when someone’s health takes a turn, but that is just the nature of the work we chose. We try to keep the atmosphere calm for the residents. Alwarpet is a good spot for us because it’s central and easy for visitors to reach. We’re just a group of people doing the work of caring for others who can’t quite manage on their own right now.
