Chennai Industries

Chennai Industries is located at No.177 on the 10th Main Road. We are part of the Sidco Industrial Estate in Thirumudivakkam, which is usually buzzing with activity from early morning until late evening. This area of Chennai is known for its manufacturing units, and our place fits right in with the rest of them. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy structure where we keep our machines and materials. Working in an industrial estate means you deal with a lot of trucks coming and going, especially on the main roads. We spend our days handling whatever projects come through the door, mostly focusing on the technical side of things. The tea stall at the corner of the 10th Main Road is where we usually end up during the afternoon slump. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us to get out to Thirumudivakkam, but once you’re here, the work takes over. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. It’s just a handful of us making sure the production stays on track. The walls have some grease stains and the floor is concrete, but it’s a good place to work if you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty. We’ve been in this spot long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the number anymore. We focus on the daily tasks and keeping the workshop running smoothly without much fuss.
