Chennai Hi-Tech Home Appliances (Pvt.) Ltd. is at 4, Powder Mills Road in Pulianthope. This part of Chennai is always moving and it stays quite warm most of the year. Our building is old but it holds everything we need. We spend our days surrounded by parts for stoves, grinders, and other home items. There is always a smell of grease and cleaning fluid in the air. The technicians are usually hunched over a workbench with a screwdriver in hand. It’s not a silent office; there is a lot of clanking and testing of motors going on. We are not a giant corporation, just a local spot where work gets done steadily. The shelves are packed with spare parts and customer orders that have been waiting for pickup for weeks. We keep track of it all with a simple logbook.
