Chella Architects

If you know Vadapalani, you probably know the Ram Theatre bus stop. Chella Architects is located right near there on Gangai Amman Kovil Street at No 154/64. It is a handy location because everyone knows the landmarks nearby. We spend our days here working through design problems and drafting up plans for various buildings. The street can get pretty crowded, but inside it is mostly just us and the drawing boards. Being a local operation, we know the people who walk through the door. Most of our work comes from word of mouth around this part of town. We handle the paperwork, the drawings, and the site visits without much fuss. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but not too far. We have seen a lot of changes in Vadapalani over the years. Our office is full of old folders and new digital gear. A mix of the old way of doing things and the new is how we operate. We do not put on any airs. Showing up, doing the architecture work, and going home is the routine. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. Being near the bus stop makes it easy for clients to find us even if they do not have a car. It is a busy, real part of the city and we like being right in the thick of it all. We just keep our focus on the plans and the measurements.
