Chaithanya Prints

If you come looking for Chaithanya Prints, you’ll find us at 62D in the Sri Raghavendra Flats. We are located in Thillai Ganga Nagar, specifically on the 1st Main Road in Nanganallur. Since we are in a residential flat, it doesn't really feel like a typical shop. The front room is where we have the big printing machines, and they take up a lot of space. There is always that distinct smell of fresh ink and warm paper in the air. We do a lot of printing for the people living nearby—things like wedding cards or school projects. The walls are lined with samples of different paper weights and colors, some of which have started to curl at the edges because of the humidity. We have a small desk where we do the layout work, and there are always stacks of paper waiting to be cut or folded. Sometimes the machines get a bit temperamental and jam, which usually happens right when we are in a hurry. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except for the occasional car driving past or the neighbors chatting. We have to be careful not to make too much noise late at night because people are trying to sleep in the other flats. It’s a small, family-run kind of operation, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the printers going back and forth all day long.
