Celerity Architects and Interior Designers

Celerity Architects and Interior Designers is located on the second floor at number 7 in Ayyavoo Naidu Colony. Amijikarai is a pretty active place, and being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though mostly we just see the tops of buses. Our office is a mix of architecture tools and interior design samples. We have piles of fabric swatches and carpet bits sitting in corners. It looks a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. We do not have a big corporate setup. It is just a few rooms where we spend our days. We do a lot of the drafting and planning right here. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep after a long day of site visits. We work with a lot of different people, and every project has its own set of headaches. We do not try to sugarcoat things. If a wall cannot be moved, we say so. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors and trying to find the right materials. It is a lot of coordination. We have been in Amijikarai for a while and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We just keep doing our thing, drawing up plans and trying to help people figure out their spaces. It is steady work and it keeps us on our toes every single day.
