Bapalal Company Jewellers

Bapalal Company Jewellers has been at No. 37 Cathedral Road for quite some time now. This is a well-known street and we are right in the middle of it. The shop is a bit traditional. We have glass cases filled with pieces and old wooden counters that have seen a lot of use. People come in to look at things or to get something repaired. It isn't like those modern malls with bright flashing lights. We keep the lighting soft and the atmosphere is usually quiet, even if there is a lot of traffic outside on the main road. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years and we know their families well. We spend our time cleaning the silver or checking the stones under the lamp. It is a slow kind of business. We don't rush people when they are looking. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the news with whoever drops by. The building itself is sturdy and has a lot of character. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. The name on the door is enough for people to know what we do. We just stay open during the regular hours and try to keep things running smoothly. It is a steady way to make a living on a very busy road. The bus stop is right outside so there are always people walking past.
