We are located on the 7th Floor of Shyamala Towers, specifically in the West Wings at 136 Arcot Road in Saligramam. Carlisle trading & Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. has been here for some time now. Being on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view of the Chennai traffic, which is always crawling along Arcot Road. It’s a bit different from being in a ground-floor workshop, as everything has to come up the elevator. We deal with various manufacturing materials and trading bits that go into different industries. The office can get a bit noisy with the phones ringing and people moving around, but we get through it. We have a few desks squeezed in and a lot of samples taking up space on the shelves. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. Our staff is a mix of folks who know the trade inside out. We don't bother with a lot of the formal stuff you see in bigger companies. We just focus on the orders and making sure the paperwork is correct. Saligramam is a lively area and having the office here makes it easy for our people to get to work. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
