Cargo

We go by the name Cargo, which is about as simple as it gets for what we do. You can find us at No 2/3 Polichaloor Main Road in Chennai-74. Being on the main road means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. It is a pretty straightforward setup we have here in Tamil Nadu. We have a space where we handle all the items coming in and going out. It is not the kind of place with air conditioning in every corner, so it gets quite warm in the afternoons. We just keep the doors open and let the air circulate as much as possible. Our work mostly involves sorting through different packages and making sure they are ready to go. It is a lot of physical labor, moving things around and checking the weights on everything. There is always a bit of a rush in the mornings when the first loads arrive. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know how the system works. The office part is just a few chairs and a table where we keep the logs. It is a practical environment where the main goal is just to finish the day's list. People in Polichaloor know the building well enough. It is just a regular local business doing its thing day in and day out on the main road.
