Capiteus Impex (Opc) Private Limited

Our office is located at No. 32/12 on Kuttiappan Gramani Street in Kilpauk. If you know Chennai, you know this part of town gets quite busy, but we like being right in the middle of it. Capiteus Impex is a small operation, really just a few of us handling the import and export side of things. We spend most of our mornings checking emails and talking to suppliers. Since we are an OPC, things stay pretty direct and there isn't much red tape inside the office. We just focus on the task at hand. The building is an older one, but it serves our needs just fine. Sometimes the humidity in Chennai makes the afternoons a bit slow, but the work never really stops. We deal with a lot of different goods, so every day feels a little different depending on what is arriving or leaving. It's not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We've stayed on Davidpuram for a while now and we know the tea stall owners and the other business people around the block. Being part of the local scene matters to us more than having a fancy address. We just want to do our jobs well and keep the business running smoothly. There is always a lot to learn about international trade, and we are just taking it one day at a time here in Kilpauk. Every shipment is a new challenge but we keep moving forward.
