We have been here at Krishna Industrial Estate for a while now. It is located in Vanagaram, which most people in Chennai know is a pretty busy industrial hub. Our plots are 65 and 78, right on Mettukuppam road. If you are coming from the main part of the city, it takes some time because of the traffic near the bridge. We have a small team here. Most of the guys show up early to get things started before the sun gets too hot. It gets really warm in these sheds during the summer months. We deal with various electrical and mechanical things. It is not a fancy office or anything. There is a lot of dust from the road and trucks moving in and out all day. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just manage like everyone else in the estate. We’ve got our address at 2/10, so it’s easy enough to find if you know the area. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years. More shops and small units have popped up around us. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It is mostly regular stuff, nothing too crazy. People stop by to ask for directions sometimes because the plot numbers can be a bit confusing. We try to help out when we can. That’s pretty much how it is here in Chennai 600095. Just a regular workplace doing its thing every day and trying to stay busy.
