Bulbul Pet Clinic

Our place is located on Medavakkam Main Road in Kovilambakkam, right near the Rani Mahal and that big Keelkattalai signal. If you know the area, you know how the traffic gets at that intersection. It can be a real headache during rush hour, but it makes us easy to find for people coming from Etchankadu. We’ve been here for a bit, seeing all sorts of dogs and cats coming through the door. It gets pretty loud sometimes when a couple of dogs start barking at each other in the waiting space. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because pets tend to leave a mess. We aren't a big fancy hospital, just a local clinic tucked into this building. There’s a lot of dust from the main road, so we’re always wiping down the counters. Most of the people who come in are from the apartments nearby. They just walk over with their pets on a leash. The signal outside clicks green and red all day long, and you can hear the horns honking while we work. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’re right in the thick of it. Sometimes people stop in just to ask directions because of the landmark near us. We keep the water bowl full for the animals and try to stay organized, even when it’s chaotic. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town.
