Progressive Trading Corporation

Our office is at No. 144, though some people still know it as Old No. 158. That happens a lot in George Town because the numbering changed a while back. We are right on Broadway, which is a very old and famous part of the city for trading. It is always crowded here, with people moving goods and carts pushed through the narrow streets. We have been part of this trading scene for a while now. The building is an older one, which is typical for George Town. It has high ceilings and a lot of character, even if it’s a bit worn out in places. We handle a variety of trading tasks throughout the day. There is a lot of paperwork and even more talking to people over the phone or in person. Broadway has its own rhythm, and you have to get used to the noise if you want to work here. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, files, and people coming in to discuss business. It’s a straightforward way of working. We show up early to beat some of the heat and stay until the work is finished. Being in George Town means you are in the heart of the trade, and we wouldn't really want to be anywhere else, despite the lack of parking and the constant buzz of the crowds.
