Our office is located on Old Township Road, right in Secretariat Colony over in Ambattur. It’s one of those parts of Chennai that feels a bit more lived-in, you know? The building has an old number 16-A and a new number 36, which can make things a little tricky for delivery drivers sometimes. We’ve been set up here for a while now. Ambattur has its own rhythm, different from the main city center. It’s a bit of a trek for some of us, but we like the neighborhood. The street gets a little dusty when the wind picks up, and there’s always someone moving something on the road. Inside, it’s just a standard workspace. We have our desks, our coffee mugs, and a lot of paperwork. It’s not a shiny corporate tower; it’s just a place where we come to handle our consultancy work every morning. Most of us take the bus or ride our scooters in. We usually eat lunch together at the back or go to one of the small eateries nearby if we’re feeling lazy. The Secretariat Colony area is quiet enough that we can actually hear ourselves think, which is nice. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations; we just sit down and get through the tasks for the day. It’s a simple setup for a group of people just trying to do their jobs well without making a big deal of it.
