Our office and warehouse are over at 216, 3Rd Link Road. It’s tucked inside the Nehru Nagar Industrial Estate in Kotivakkam, just off the OMR. If you’ve driven through this part of Chennai, you know the traffic can be a bit of a headache, but once you get into the industrial estate, it’s all business. At Boge Compressors (India) Private Limited, we spend most of our time dealing with air systems. It’s a lot of heavy equipment moving in and out. The bays are usually full of crates. Some days are quieter than others, but there is always someone checking a gauge or packing a part for delivery. The humidity in Kotivakkam can be tough on the machines, so we keep an eye on things. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters; it’s a working space. We have desks tucked into corners near the inventory. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the layout of the 3Rd Link Road like the back of our hands. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, handle the compressor orders, and make sure the logistics are moving. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck at the turn, or the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. It’s a straightforward operation. We eat lunch together and talk about the work that needs finishing before the sun goes down. It’s just how we operate here.
