We are located over on K.K.R. Avenue in Perambur. It’s a decent area, though it gets quite busy with all the local traffic and people moving about. Our work mostly involves import and export stuff, which keeps us on our toes most of the week. You’ll usually find us staring at computer screens or talking on the phone with customs people and transport guys. The office at number 41 isn’t anything special to look at, just a practical place where we get our daily tasks done. We deal with a lot of different goods, so every day feels a little different depending on what’s arriving or leaving the port. It’s mostly about making sure the paperwork is correct and that the shipments don't get stuck somewhere. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. We don’t have a big corporate structure here. It’s just a handful of us making sure the connections are made between the buyers and the sellers. We've been in Perambur for a bit now and we like the neighborhood. It’s got a good feel to it and people around here know us. We try to be straightforward with everyone we deal with because that makes life easier for everyone. There’s always a bit of stress when a container is late, but we manage. It’s just how the business goes. We just keep at it, one shipment at a time.
