Blessed Pharmacy

We run Blessed Pharmacy over on 3rd Street in Subramaniapuram. Our door number is 7, right in the heart of Kolathur. It’s a small shop, but we keep it well-stocked with the basics. People from the neighborhood come in for their regular medicine or just to ask a quick question about a cough. It’s a quiet street for the most part, which is nice. We spend a lot of time organizing the shelves and checking expiry dates. It’s a lot of responsibility, making sure people get the right thing. We aren't a big chain pharmacy. It’s just us and maybe a helper in the evenings. The counter is usually cluttered with prescriptions and notes. We have a small fan that hums all day. Sometimes the delivery guys are late, and we have to tell people to come back later, which is never fun. Kolathur is a busy area, but our little corner on 3rd Street stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. We have a lot of elderly folks who come in just to talk for a bit while they get their tablets. We don't mind it, it's nice to have some company. The shelves are getting a bit old and they creak when you put heavy bottles on them, but they still hold up. We've been thinking about getting a new sign, but everyone already knows we're here at door number 7. It's just a simple life. We open early and close when the street gets dark.
