BLACK BT LLP

Our office, Black BT LLP, is situated in Flat 1 A on the first floor of the Nithilam building. This is on Poes Road, specifically the 1st Street in Teynampet. It’s a well-known area, but it still feels like a real neighborhood. The flat has been turned into a workspace, so it has a bathroom and a small kitchen area that we use for lunch. There’s a big table in the middle where we all sit and work together. We don't really have separate offices; it’s mostly open so we can talk to each other without having to get up. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few maps and some notes we’ve taped up. We do a lot of our work online, so as long as the electricity is on and the Wi-Fi is working, we are happy. Poes Road is a popular area in Chennai, and we like being located here, even if our actual office is quite modest. There is a small parking space downstairs, but it usually fills up fast with the other tenants' cars. We spend most of our time looking at data and coordinating things over the phone. It’s a very focused environment, but we still find time to joke around and share snacks in the afternoon. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just want to do our jobs well and go home at the end of the day. The afternoon sun hits the balcony just right around 4 PM.
