Bien Styles Private Limited

Our place, Bien Styles, is located in Mylapore, which is always crowded and noisy, but we are tucked away in Annapurna Apartments. It is New No. 11 on Warren Road, specifically Flat No. 1 on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor is actually pretty helpful for when we have to move boxes in and out, though the parking in this part of Chennai is a total nightmare. Most days, you can hear the traffic from the main road while we’re trying to count the stock. The office itself is just a regular flat, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We’ve got desks set up where the dining table would usually be, and the back room is filled to the ceiling with clothes and bags. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but the fan keeps things moving. The neighbors in the building are used to us by now, even with all the people coming and going. We grab coffee from the small shop around the corner when the 3 PM slump hits. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just folding things and packing them into plastic covers. It isn't a huge operation, just a few of us trying to stay on top of the orders that come through. It’s a bit cramped with all the fabric samples everywhere, but it works for what we need to do right now in Mylapore.
