Moulivakkam is where we are based, right on Kundrathur Main Road at 59-A. If you walk past our doors, you will see plenty of wires, bulbs, and various electrical components scattered around the shelves. It is a local shop where we handle various electronics and parts. Most mornings involve opening up the heavy shutters and sweeping out the dust before customers start coming in for small things like fuses, switches, or some copper wire for a home project. It gets quite loud because of all the traffic on the main road, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time fixing stuff behind the counter or checking the inventory to see what needs to be reordered. Sometimes people come in with old fans or small motors that need looking at to see if they can be saved. It is a small space, so it gets crowded quickly when we have a lot of stock arriving at once. We do not have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know exactly where every little screw and capacitor is kept. Half the time, I am searching for a specific tool that someone put in the wrong drawer. It is just regular work, nothing too flashy or exciting. We have been at this spot for a good while and the locals know us by face. We just try to keep the shelves stocked with the things people in the neighborhood actually need.
