We are located right on Khan Street in Choolaimedu, just a short walk from the Nungambakkam Railway Station. If you head up to the second floor at number 11/6, you’ll find us there working with students who are taking the NIOS route. It’s a busy spot most days. People usually come in when they need help with their open school forms or when they find the textbooks a bit too thick to handle on their own. We spend a lot of time sitting at the wooden desks here, going over old exam papers and making sure everyone understands what they need to write. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but we get the work done. Most of the folks who come to us are looking for a way to finish their schooling while working or handling other stuff at home. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or anything like that, just some chairs, whiteboards, and plenty of pens. It’s mostly about getting through the syllabus without getting stuck. Choolaimedu is a crowded area, so finding us is easier if you look for the station first. We’ve been here a while now, seeing different faces come and go every year. Some days are quieter than others, especially when exams are far off. But when the dates are announced, the office gets quite packed with parents and students asking about registration deadlines and hall tickets. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the lessons at hand.
