Bhagwan Mahaveer Eye Hospital

Our hospital is right there on M S Koil Street in Royapuram, at number 142. If you find St Anne’s School, you just have to look right across the street and you’ll see our building. It’s a very lively neighborhood, especially when school is letting out for the day and the kids are running everywhere. Bhagwan Mahaveer Eye Hospital has been a fixture here for a long time. Since we focus specifically on eyes, we have a lot of specialized equipment for checking vision and doing all the various tests that people need. The lobby usually has a few people waiting their turn, some wearing eye patches or trying out new glasses for the first time. We try to keep the lighting inside just right so it’s comfortable for everyone’s eyes, which is important given what we do. Royapuram is a busy place, and M S Koil Street is no exception to that rule. There’s a lot of history in these streets, and we feel like we’re a small part of that story. The staff here knows the local area and the people very well. We spend our days looking through lenses and helping folks see a bit better than they did when they walked in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The building has some age to it, but it’s kept up well enough for our needs. We don’t have a big corporate office; it’s just us in our spot across from the school.
