Our office is tucked away in the Jeeven Anand building, right on Mount Road in Teyanampet. If you know Chennai, you know how busy this stretch gets, especially during the afternoon rush. We’ve been operating out of number 556 for a while now. It’s a standard workspace where we deal with all the material science stuff that comes across our desks. There’s nothing too exciting about the walls or the desks, just a lot of paperwork and people talking on phones about polymers and chemicals. The air conditioning is usually running full blast to keep out the Teyanampet heat, which is a relief when you step inside from the street. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a group of us here, making sure the distributions and the technical details are handled correctly day in and day out. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow, so we end up chatting in the lobby more than we planned. We don't have a big reception area with fancy flowers or anything like that. It’s just the place where we work. We keep track of the shipments, talk to the suppliers, and try to stay organized amidst all the files. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Just a regular office on a very busy road.
