We operate out of Sundaram Flats, specifically at 49/8 on Thiruvengadam Street in Perambur. It’s a residential-looking area in Chennai, so it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the neighbors are all used to the delivery trucks coming in and out. The space inside is mostly dedicated to paperwork and organizing the logistics for bigger shipments. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting lounge with magazines. It’s more of a place where we sit at our desks and figure out the best routes for moving goods. The humidity in Chennai can be tough, so the fans are always on full blast. Perambur is a busy part of town, but Thiruvengadam Street stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. We deal with global shipping, which sounds fancy, but the actual work is just a lot of checking documents and making sure everything is in order. It’s a lot of phone calls to ports and airports. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people in this office; it’s just a handful of us making sure things don't get stuck. People sometimes get confused by the flat number, but once they see the boxes, they know they are in the right place. It’s a straightforward, no-frills kind of job we do here every day in this corner of Chennai.
