Our office is at No. 53/49 Marundeeswar Nagar, right on L B Road in Thiruvanmiyur. Being near Ashtalakshmi Kovil Street means we get a lot of people passing by, especially on the weekends when people go to the temple. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes the metal hinges on our doors a bit rusty, but that’s just how it is living this close to the water. We handle various goods for Export India, mostly just making sure things get sent to where they are supposed to go. The traffic on L B Road is something you just have to get used to. It can be loud with all the buses and bikes, but inside the office, we just keep our heads down and work. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and that’s usually where we end up talking about our plans for the day. There is no big mystery to what we do here. We take orders, we pack things, and we send them off. We’ve been in Thiruvanmiyur for quite a while now and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. It’s a mix of old houses and new shops. We don’t have a flashy storefront. It’s just a regular door with our name on it. Most of our day is spent typing on the computer or checking the inventory on the shelves in the back room.
