Barkar Seals

You can find us at Barkar Seals down on Samathanpuram Road. We are at No 2-30 in the Yezhusattupathu area near Kovalam. It’s a quiet spot compared to the city. We make seals and gaskets for all sorts of things. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes things rust faster than we’d like, so we have to be careful with the equipment. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers during the week. We get a lot of locals stopping by. The road out front isn't the smoothest, but it gets the job done for our deliveries. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the address and the name. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s a slow pace of life here, but the work is steady. We handle a lot of manual pressing and cutting. It isn't a high-tech factory. We use what we have and make it work. Most of our tools have been around as long as the business has. We like being part of the community here in Kovalam. People know they can find us if they need a specific seal made up.
