We are located at No.8/4 in Indra Colony. It’s right on the 1st Main Road in Ashok Nagar, Chennai. This part of Chennai is always moving, but our little corner is a bit more settled. Banvitha Chit Funds Private Limited is the name on the door. We handle chit funds for the local people living around here. It’s a practical way for folks to save up and get some money when they need it for a wedding or fixing a roof. We have a few staff members who have lived in Ashok Nagar their whole lives. We know the streets and we know the people. The office is pretty basic. We have a couple of old filing cabinets and some wooden desks. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open for a breeze. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with fancy lights. It’s just a room where we sit and talk about money. People from Indra Colony come by after work to drop off their payments. We keep a ledger for everything. It’s been 600083 for as long as I can remember.
