Bab

Our little place is called Bab, and we are located at 11, Muthu Gramani Street. It’s a narrow street, and sometimes it is hard to find a place to park a scooter, let alone a car. We have been here for a while, just doing our thing day in and day out. The building is modest, and the front door squeaks every time someone walks in. Inside, it’s mostly just us working away. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy HR department. It’s more like a family setup where everyone knows what needs to be done without being told. We handle a variety of small tasks and orders that come through. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to make too much noise, though sometimes it’s unavoidable. The lighting isn't the best, so we rely on the big window at the front during the day. We keep our records in old ledgers and some on a basic computer that takes forever to start up. People stop by to chat or ask about what we are making. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone with tall talk. We just provide what we have and keep the place running. It’s a quiet life on Muthu Gramani Street, and we like it that way. No big drama, just consistent work and the same familiar faces every morning when we open up.
