B. R. ENTERPRISES

If you walk down Broadway, you will eventually hit number 147 where B. R. ENTERPRISES is located. This is one of the oldest and busiest streets in the city. It is always full of noise, people, and the smell of various goods. We have been here for a long time, and the shop feels like a second home to most of us. We deal with hardware and industrial supplies. The building is old, and it has a lot of character, though it could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Instead, we have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with everything you can imagine. It’s a bit of a maze, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years. They know we don't do things the corporate way. We just talk, find what they need, and settle the bill. It is a very hands-on job. We spend a lot of time moving boxes and checking the stock. There’s no air conditioning, just a few old fans that hum all day long. We open early and stay until the street starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep things moving one day at a time.
