Our office is situated on the 8th floor of Prince Towers, right at No. 25 and 26. It’s on College Road, which eventually meets Greams Road, and if you know that area, you know how the traffic can get. Being up on the 8th floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, though we are usually too busy with paperwork to look out the windows much. The elevators in this building can be a real test of patience during the lunch rush. We deal with medical supplies and equipment all day long. It is a lot of tracking shipments and talking to doctors or hospital staff. The space is filled with desks, computers, and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. We try to keep things organized, but when three deliveries arrive at once, it gets a bit chaotic. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things. We aren't much for fancy meetings; we just talk across the desks when something needs fixing. The air conditioning is a bit moody, sometimes it’s too cold and sometimes it barely works, but we make do. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get through the daily list of tasks. We grab coffee from the little shop downstairs when we need a break from the screens.
