Sri Balaji Exports

You can find us at Sri Balaji Exports, which is at No:208 in the TNHB area of Ayapakkam. It is a quiet enough place compared to the main city center, which makes it a lot easier for us to focus on the daily work we have to do. The building we use is simple and we’ve set it up so we can get all the packing done in the back area while the paperwork stays up in the front office. There’s almost always a stack of documents sitting on the table because that is just how the export business goes these days. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or checking on where a specific container is sitting at the port. Sometimes the internet connection is a bit slow and we have to wait around for things to load, but we manage to get by. Most of the folks working here have lived in this Ayapakkam area for a very long time. We know the local roads well and all the shortcuts to avoid the main highway congestion during the rush hour. There’s a big tree near our entrance that gives some nice shade in the mornings when we arrive. We don’t have a marketing team or any of that polished stuff. We just do our work, pack the goods, and make sure the labels are put on straight. It is a lot of routine, really.
