Avilaa Exports Pvt. Ltd. is located over on Thambu Chetty Street. The address can be a little confusing because it’s New No. 126 but it used to be Old No. 269/1. We are up on the 4th floor. It’s an old part of the city, so the building has some character to it, for better or worse. There is a lot of history on this street. Being on the 4th floor means we get a bit of a view of the street noise below without being right in the middle of it. We spend most of our time at our desks or moving boxes around when we have to. It’s a busy area, lots of people moving around all the time outside. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees; we just handle our export business from this office. It’s practical for us. The lift works most of the time, which is good since we’re up a few levels. We like being on Thambu Chetty Street because everything we need is close by. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and samples, but it’s our space. We just show up, do the work, and deal with the logistics. It's a straightforward operation here. Nothing fancy, just a dedicated team in a solid old building. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular people working hard to get things done. We stay busy with the paperwork and the phone calls all day long.
