Ocean Exports

Ocean Exports is over in Avadi at No. 78 P. H. Road. If you know the Govarthanagiri area, you know it gets quite crowded with all the traffic during the day. Our office is right there in the middle of it all. We spend most of our mornings sorting through what needs to be shipped out next. We deal with exports mostly. The office is honestly a bit small for all the stuff we have to keep track of. There are stacks of boxes and files everywhere you look. We have a couple of fans running all day to try and keep the heat down. It’s a lot of phone calls to the port and checking on where the trucks are currently located. Sometimes the drivers get stuck in heavy traffic on P. H. Road, which slows everything down for us. We’ve been operating from this same spot for a while now. We don't have any fancy furniture or a big glowing sign out front. It’s just a place where we get the daily work done. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up when things get too hectic inside the office. We handle the logistics of getting goods out of the country, which involves a lot of checking and re-checking lists. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. We see the same faces every day and that makes the time go by much faster. We just try to keep things moving.
