Our office is over in the Yathiraj Naidu Complex, which is part of the Ethiraj Complex on Avadi Road. The address is a bit of a mouthful, 2/230-b in Karayanchavadi. We’ve been operating Rasim Exports from this spot for quite a while now. It’s a busy intersection nearby, so there is always a lot of movement outside. We deal with a lot of export logistics. Most of the day is spent on the phone or typing out details for the customs forms. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we know how to do. The office has big windows, but they face the wall of the next building so we don't see much. We have a small kettle for making tea, which gets used a lot in the mornings. The staff is just a handful of us. We aren't some giant corporation with hundreds of workers. We just handle our regular clients and keep things moving. Sometimes the couriers get confused because of the two complex names, but they eventually find us. We don't have any sleek marketing stuff around. Just some calendars and maps on the walls. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around on the floor. We just work through the pile until it's gone. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Karayanchavadi. We keep it practical and stay busy.
