Auto Grill Lubes & Spares is located at number 1, Appa Rao Colony. We are right in the middle of the Tambaram Sanatorium area, which is a very busy part of town. The shop is on a corner, making it pretty easy to spot if you’re walking or driving by. We sell a variety of lubricants and spare parts for different types of vehicles. It’s a relatively small shop, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have, often stacking things right up to the ceiling. The air inside always has that heavy smell of engine oil and new rubber. Since we are near the sanatorium and the railway station, we get a lot of people stopping in on their way to work or home. We’ve been here in Appa Rao Colony for quite a while, and we’ve gotten to know many of the local mechanics and drivers. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a professional sales team. It’s just us behind the counter helping people find the right oil or a specific part they need. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several customers come in at once, but we do our best to help everyone. It’s a simple, local business that relies on the neighborhood people coming back. We just keep things running as best as we can every day.
