Our office is over in M.R.C Nagar, specifically in Padmalaya Towers on Janaki Avenue. It’s a decent area, a bit quieter than some of the older parts of the city, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on the steel business. We’ve set up Assab Sripad Steels here to handle the logistics and the administrative side of things. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a workspace where we spend our hours looking over orders and talking to suppliers. The building itself is easy enough to find. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, some heavy filing cabinets, and the smell of printer ink. We’ve got a small crew who have been together for a while. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time on the phone than anything else. The humidity gets to us sometimes, but the breeze from the coast isn't too far off. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just the basics to keep the business moving. Most days are pretty predictable, which is actually how we like it. We show up, handle the shipments, talk to the clients, and head home once the work is finished. It’s a practical setup for the type of heavy industry stuff we manage. There’s a lot of paper moving across these desks every single day.
