If you've ever spent time down on Kondi Chetty Street, you know how things are here in Parrys. It gets loud and the traffic never seems to stop, but that is just part of the day for us at Asil Industries Ltd. We have been at number 15 for a while now, tucked away among the other shops and buildings. Most mornings start with the sound of shutters going up and the smell of tea from the corner stall. We don’t have any fancy office space with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done and deal with the paperwork. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big order comes in or the power acts up. We mostly just focus on the manufacturing side and keeping things moving. People walk in and out, asking for this or that, and we try to help them out without making a big fuss about it. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of all the construction nearby, but we keep the machines running. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything, just trying to do the work right so we can go home at the end of the shift. If you are looking for us, look for the old sign near the intersection. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend most of our hours.
