Asian Exports

Working out of 24-d Queen Park Apartments is definitely not your typical corporate office experience. We are tucked away in Gowrivakkam, right on the busy Tambaram Velachery Road. Since it is a residential building, it is actually quite nice and quiet compared to the loud industrial zones where most exporters sit. Asian Exports is run from this space, which means we spend a lot of our time on the phone or staring at laptop screens. My neighbor down the hall always stops by to ask what we are actually doing with all those stacks of documents. I just tell him we move goods from one side of the world to the other. It takes a lot of coordination to get it right. You have to keep a close eye on schedules and shipping lines every single day. Sometimes the internet acts up when we need it most, and that is when the real stress starts for us. But mostly, it is just a steady, quiet flow of work. We are not a huge company with multiple floors of people. It is just us in this apartment space, keeping things moving as best as we can. We end up making a lot of coffee to get through the afternoon slump. The location is convenient because we can get to the main road quickly when we need to visit the customs office. I think our clients like that we are a small operation. It feels more personal when you know exactly who is handling your paperwork.
