Asian Cool Bar

We have been here on NSC Boss Road for a good while now. It gets incredibly hot in Parrys, especially during the middle of the day when the sun is right overhead, so people usually come in when they just need to sit down for a minute and catch their breath. The shop is located at number 227. It is not a very big place by any means, but we manage to keep things running every day. Mostly we just serve cold drinks and the usual small snacks that people like when they are out shopping in the market or working at the offices nearby. Parrys is always crowded and noisy with all the lorries and bikes, so having a small spot to grab something cold is pretty important for the locals. We open up quite early and stay until the evening is well under way. Sometimes the cooling equipment acts up, but we get it fixed and keep going. It is just a normal, local spot for everyday people. Most folks know us because we are right on the main road where everyone walks. We don't really do anything fancy or special here. It's just about getting a quick drink and moving on with the rest of your day. The traffic outside is constant and loud, but inside it is a bit more relaxed. We see the same faces every day, mostly office workers or people moving heavy goods. It's a busy life here in Chennai. We just try to keep the drinks cold.
