Ashok Leyland Ltd

We've been operating out of Chennai for a long time now. You can find us over at 14, V V Koil Street, right in the heart of things. It's an old spot, but it works for us. Most of the folks here at Ashok Leyland Ltd have been with the company for years. We handle a lot of the big truck stuff and heavy vehicles people see on the roads every day. It’s noisy and busy most mornings when the shifts start. Tamil Nadu has always been our base. People around here know the building well. It’s not a fancy office, just a place where work gets done. Sometimes the traffic on V V Koil Street gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons. We just keep our heads down and focus on the engines and the chassis. It's honest work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more worried about what’s going out the gate. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the decades. New shops come and go, but we’re still here at the same old address. It’s just how things are. We have a lot of tea breaks and talk about the day's tasks. There's a lot of metal and grease involved in what we do. It’s what we know. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just a bunch of people making sure the transport side of things keeps moving.
