We are located in the Sidco Industrial Estate over in Ambattur, at Plot Number 58. Being in an industrial zone like this means there is always something going on around us. There’s the sound of machinery and trucks moving throughout the day. Our focus here at Ashlok Safe Earthing Electrode is on the earthing electrode side of things. It’s a very specific type of work, mostly involving metal and safety equipment. The workshop is usually the busiest part of the building. We’ve got a team that handles the production and another group that takes care of the office side. It gets dusty, and it’s definitely not a corporate office environment, but it works for what we do. The climate in Ambattur can be pretty hot, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roofing. We’ve been at this site for a while and have seen the estate change quite a bit over the years. Most of our neighbors are also in manufacturing, so there’s a sense of being in a place where things actually get built. We spend a lot of time checking quality and making sure the specs are right for the electrodes. It’s honest work that requires a lot of attention to detail. We usually wrap things up by early evening before the main gate traffic gets too bad. It’s just a straightforward operation here, nothing fancy, just people working with their hands and managing the business daily.
