We are located in the Hameedia Complex on General Patters Road. If you know this area, you know how hectic it gets. It is probably the busiest place for auto parts in the whole city. Our shop is at number 32, and it’s a tight space. We have boxes stacked everywhere, sometimes even blocking the walkway a bit. Dealing with the crowd on GP Road is a daily task. There are bikes parked everywhere and people shouting for different parts. We’ve been in this complex for a good number of years. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to clear everything out to do it. We mostly sell to the smaller retailers and individual mechanics who come in from the suburbs. Most days, we are busy answering the phone and checking if we have a particular clutch plate or brake pad in the back. It gets quite hot in the complex because there isn't much airflow. We just keep the ceiling fan running on high and drink plenty of water. It’s not a quiet life, but we like the energy of the market. You meet all kinds of people here. Everyone is in a hurry, so we try to find what they need as fast as we can without making too many mistakes or keeping them waiting too long.
