Asahi India Glass Pvt. Ltd.

The place we work is No 88A on Radha Krishnan Street in Bella Nagar. We are pretty easy to find since we are right near the SBI ATM. Asahi India Glass Pvt. Ltd. might sound like a big name, but here at this spot, we are just a bunch of people dealing with a whole lot of glass every day. The warehouse area is where most of the action happens. We spend our time moving big sheets around and making sure nothing gets chipped or cracked. It’s a lot of physical work and you have to be focused all the time because glass doesn't give you a second chance if you drop it. The street outside is usually quiet enough, but we have trucks coming and going quite a bit for deliveries. It gets pretty dusty inside, and we are always sweeping up tiny fragments that seem to appear out of nowhere. I’ve worked here for a while and you just get used to the weight of the glass and the smell of the cleaning fluids we use. It is not a glamorous job, but it is necessary for the buildings around here. We don't have a fancy front office with coffee machines; it’s more about wooden crates and loaders. We just try to get the orders loaded safely and out the door on time. It’s a lot of responsibility but we just take it day by day and hope for the best.
