Arun Plastik

We are located over in Choolaimedu on Periyar Pathai. It’s a busy little stretch of road and we are at number 168/1. If you live around here, you probably know the area gets quite packed, especially in the evenings. Our shop is full of all kinds of plastic items that people need for their daily chores. We have buckets in every color, big drums for water storage, and those plastic chairs that everyone uses for extra seating at home. It’s a very practical kind of shop. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Things are just stacked up where they fit so we can show as much as possible. Sometimes the stacks get a bit high and we have to be careful when pulling something down for a customer. We get a lot of local residents coming in for small things like mugs or containers for the kitchen. It’s nice because we see the same faces quite often. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to keep the more sensitive items further back. We’ve been here for a while and we know what people in Choolaimedu are looking for. It isn't anything complicated, just good old plastic stuff that does the job it’s supposed to do. We open early and stay until the street starts to quiet down a bit at night. It's just a regular local business and we like being part of the street.
