We are Varun Ceramics & Sanitary, and our shop is located at No. 131/16 on J.N. Road, right on the 100 Feet Road in Senthil Nagar, Arumbakkam. This is where we keep all our tiles, sinks, and bathroom fittings. It’s a busy spot because of the main road being right there. There’s a lot of dust and noise from the traffic outside all day long. Inside, it’s just stacks of ceramic tiles and rows of toilets and taps. We don't have any fancy displays or interior designers on staff to help people out. We just show them what we have in stock. If someone is building a house or fixing a bathroom, they come by to look at the patterns and check the prices. Sometimes we have to move heavy crates around which is hard on the back. We’ve been at this Senthil Nagar location for quite a while now. The shop isn't very modern looking, but it has everything we need to run the business. We don't do any big ads. People see us when they are stuck in traffic on 100 Feet Road and decide to stop in. We keep a ledger for all the sales and it’s all very old school. Sometimes we run out of a certain tile and have to wait for the truck to bring more from the warehouse. That’s just part of the trade. We just stay here, sell the ceramics, and talk to the locals who come in to see us. It is simple work.
